Mike King

ST. LOUIS - Thomas Michael King, 60, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Jan. 25, 2003, in St. Louis.

Born Jan. 20, 1943, in New Madrid, he was the son of Thelma King of New Madrid and the late Robert King.

Survivors in addition to his mother include: one son, Matt David King of Birmingham, Ala.; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Alan Douglas of Sikeston; five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Bob and Mary King of Manchester, Harry and Angela King and Richard King of New Madrid, Jimmy and Vicki King of Lilbourn and Joe King of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Beth and Mike Mapes of Cape Girardeau, Susan and Mike Totty of Arlington, Texas, and Mary Linda and Ken King of San Jose, Calif.; and two granddaughters, Brandi Douglas of Sikeston and Jessi Ann King of Birmingham; and a special friend, Tony Kalbac of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Taylor; and an infant brother, Kenneth Parks King.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Madrid with Monsignor Mike Swalina, officiating.

Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
