Paula Casey

CHARLESTON - Paula Kay Casey, 40, died unexpectedly at 12:45 p.m. Nov. 5, 2002, in Charleston.

Born Feb. 16, 1962, in Granite City, Ill., daughter of James Cann Sr. of Oxly and the late Ruth Jones Cann, she lived in Charleston most of her life. A 1980 graduate of Charleston High School, she was a dental assistant for Dr. Charles Barnes in Charleston and member of the Full Gospel Church in East Prairie.

On May 7, 1983, she married David Casey who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to her husband and father include: one son, Randy Casey of the home; one daughter, Sarah Casey of the home; two brothers, Jimmy Cann and Darren Cann of Charleston; and her paternal grandmother, Marie Cann of Granite City, Ill.

Visitation begins at 6 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday. Mike Johnson and Burl Britt will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
