Karen Sullinger

ST. PETERS - Karen Faye Harper Sullinger, 57, formerly of Benton and Chaffee, died at 5:55 p.m. Dec. 23, 2004, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

Born Feb. 13, 1947, in Cape Girardeau, she was the daughter Virginia Lee Bertrand Harper of Scott City and the late Raymond Glenburn Harper.

On May 29, 1968, at Benton, she married Norman Mitchell Sullinger who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include: two daughters, Angela LeeAnn Witt of O'Fallon and Sarah JoAnn Sullinger of St. Peters; three brothers, Glenburn Harper of Scott City, Gary Harper of Foristell and Jim Harper of Jackson; two sisters, Jane Montgomery of Kelso and Gail Riley of Blodgett; and one granddaughter, Olivia LeeAnn Witt.

Services were conducted Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton with James E. Harper officiating.

Burial followed in St. Denis Catholic Cemetery at Benton.
