Helen O'Heren

BERNIE - Helen Maxine O'Heren, 89, died Jan. 16, 2003, at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Ark.

Born April 6, 1913, in Bernie, she was the daughter of the late Roy Bickford and Elsie Dora Slayton Woods Sr.

On Feb. 17, 1932, at Piggott, Ark., she married William Moy O'Heren who preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 1970.

Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Helen Jeanette and Jay Blevins of Little Rock; two sisters, Lorene Williams of Santa Fe, N.M., and Betty Branum of Bernie; three grandchildren, Michael Jay Blevins of Fort Smith, Ark., and William Bruce Blevins and Joni Lynn Terry of Maumelle, Ark.; and five great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Also preceding her in death were one sister, Nadine Harmon; and one brother, R.B. Woods Jr.

Services were conducted at 11 a.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie with the Rev. Susan Marner-Sides officiating.

Burial followed in the Bernie Cemetery.
