Bulldogs go full contact

A Sikeston running back stiff-arms a defender in Thursday's football practice at the high school. The Bulldogs went full contact for the first time, gearing up for the 2003 season.

Sikeston will participate in the annual Red and Black scrimmage next Friday, then will travel to New Madrid County Central for a jamboree scrimmage on Aug. 29. The Bulldogs will open the 2003 season on Sept. 5, hosting Jackson.
