I know I have made some mistakes in life but you are not one of them. Falling in love with you was one of the best things in life that could have ever happened to me. I had no idea what a soul mate meant until I met you. Yes, I was in the wrong by not talking to you about my problems, and that I am sorry for. Sure, we both have tempers and we say wrong things to each other, but we are supposed to make up and make things better. I could have never left you. You are everything a man could ask for, especially this man. I have not cheated on you; just wasn't willing to share my problems and I am sorry for that. The only two things I am guilty for are not believing in you and for loving you. You and your children are my family and I have loved and taken care of you all like a family. I am sorry for everything. I love you always and forever.

All government officials could themselves be looking for jobs. I think it's time our government wakes up and takes a good look at why there is a high rate of unemployment in this country. Too many companies are taking our manufacturing jobs overseas. They get cheap labor and don't worry about employee safety over there. Can't be very good Christians if they don't believe in human safety. If this trend of moving jobs to foreign countries continues, these government workers (that means you senators and representatives, on up to the President, too) are going to be out of jobs or working for free. If people can't work, the government don't collect taxes. These government officials will not get paid. If an item can be made here in the good-old USA, then it should be made here and that same item made in a foreign country by a USA company should not be allowed in the USA. Let them sell it overseas where it is made. Any item made here or overseas by a foreign company should not be able to sell that item cheaper than a American company that makes that same item here in the USA.

Old Dan Rather sided in with Hussein. That's the way he did in Vietnam and Korea both. He sided with the enemy. He's nothing but a traitor.

This is in response to a Feb. 24 SpeakOut. There are several things I would like to point out. First of all, having conflicting opinions does not make one a communist. Having unanimous opinions does. So before you insult someone, make sure you use terminology correctly. Secondly, I think I will move out of the country, maybe even to Iraq. If I can't express my opinion in this country with free speech and have people call me "un-American," etc. and tell me to move, I might as well. I have to agree that wishing people to die is inhumane. I wish no one would die, on either side. The only way to prevent that is by not going to war. Finally, I would like to clarify what terrorism is. It is defined as a systematic use of terror as a means of force. Now, who are we trying to convince? So-called terrorists and other people in the U.S. don't like to change their ways. People like fascist Hitler invading all these countries. Everyone needs to look at everything from both sides.

I went to a Scott Central basketball game tonight. At the half-time of the boys varsity game, there was a half-court shootout that involved about 40 people and delayed the game for about 25 minutes and no one seems to understand that was against the Missouri State High School Association's rules. They need to get somebody in charge who knows the rules governing high school sports.

I would like to SpeakOut about the epidemic that seems to be plaguing our lives. People who are supposed to be adults play a very dangerous game with little lives, gifts from God. They use these babies a tool to devise the hurt of grandparents because you have little temper tantrums. You don't get your way, so you withhold the babies from seeing their grandparents. You deprive these precious babies of love and God knows there's not enough love in the world now. I wouldn't want to be in your shoes. God gives and God takes away. Lives are not to be used to get our way or to hurt other people. They don't belong to you; they are on loan. Love your enemies and pray for those who despitefully use you. I pray for you daily.

How come when we get a free paper we don't get to see SpeakOut or anything like that. I am a subscriber but I noticed that people in Morehouse who get a free paper but it doesn't have SpeakOut in it. I'd like to know why. I think it's mean. People in Sikeston get SpeakOut in their free paper.
