FLORISSANT -- Ashley Marie Deason and Michael Zane Foote exchanged wedding vows in a 2 p.m. ceremony May 29, 2004, at Grace Assembly of God in Florissant. The Rev. Joel Zarro performed the ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Senior Master Sgt. Walter and Jan Deason of Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., and formerly of Blodgett. She is the granddaughter of Eugene and Donna Gilliland of Sikeston, Walter "Dub" Deason of Blodgett and the late Virginia Deason.

The bridegroom is the son of Cheryl Hicks of Waynesville and Kelley Foote of Arizona. His grandparents are Wayne and Blythe Horine of Waynesville.

Music for the occasion was provided by vocalist David Blackburn and musician Evie Horine.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white strapless gown featuring an envelope opening in the front. Her cathedral train was embellished with daisy embroidery and diamonds.

Kati Gillett of Oklahoma City, Okla., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Beth Deason and Rachael Deason of Little Rock Air Force Base and Brandi Robinson of Oklahoma City.

Annie Zarro, daughter of Joel and Hope Zarro of Florissant, and Emily Marks, daughter of Brad and Vicki Marks of Hillsboro, were flower girls.

Best man was Byron Foote of Austin, Texas; and groomsmen were David Sergeant of Independence, Justin Johnson of Oklahoma City and Scott Zadravecz of St. Robert.

Ring bearer was Avian Blackburn, son of David and Laura Blackburn of Oklahoma City.

Brad Marks and Ryan Marks of Hillsboro and David Hicks of St. Robert were ushers. Bible carrier was Joey Zarro, son of Joel and Hope Zarro.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the church, where guests were served by Hope Zarro, Vicki Marks of Hillsboro, Laura Deason of St. Clair and Dana Deason of Blodgett.

After a honeymoon to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., the new Mr. and Mrs. Foote are residing in Oklahoma City.
