PARMA - Artie Alean Rowland, 92, died March 29, 2005, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Feb. 21, 1913, in Finger, Tenn., daughter of the late George C. and Lessie Ann Young Bullman, she had been a resident of Parma since 1938. A member of the First Baptist Church in Parma, she was a retired riverboat cook with the Inland Oil Co.

On Oct. 20, 1934, in Corinth, Miss., she married Joseph Hubert Rowland who preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 1992. She was also preceded in death by one son, Lelon Rowland; five brothers, Clarence Bullman, Otis Bullman, Buren Bullman, Emmett Bullman and Calvin Bullman; five sisters, Gladys Young, Virgie Bullman, Odell Greene, Cleo Bailey and Oca Bullman; and one grandson, Timothy Ludwig.

Survivors include: two sons, Danny Rowland of Dexter and Gary Roland of Parma; three daughters, Jane Lewis Campbell and Marilyn Jeanette Ludwig of Parma and Shirley Corn of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Mary Smith of Henderson, Tenn.; and 21 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. John Girdley of Parma and the Rev. Jody Duncan of Atoka, Tenn., will officiate.

Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
