Virginia Knupp

KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind. - Virginia Lee Knupp, 83, formerly of Anniston, Mo., and Charleston, Mo., died at 5 a.m. Dec. 26, 2002, at the Regency Place Extended Care Nursing Facility in Greenfield.

Born Nov. 15, 1919, in the Crosno community of Mississippi County, daughter of the late James and Birdie Griffith Null, she had lived in Charleston most her life until moving to Knightstown in 2001. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Knightstown.

She married Sammie Knupp who survives of Knightstown.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Faye Lewis of Knightstown; and four grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Everett Null; and one sister, Mary Sue Meadows.

Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until time of services at 11 a.m. at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston with the Rev. Dolan Rogers, pastor of Sikeston Community Church in Sikeston, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Anniston Cemetery.
