Maggie Rogers
CHARLESTON - Maggie Bell Quillin Rogers, 84, died at 11:30 p.m. Aug. 14, 2007, at her home.
Born Oct. 8, 1922, in Braggadocio, to the late William Butler and Nola Bell Ezelle Quillin, since 1956 she had lived in Charleston where she was a member of the First Baptist Church.
On Dec. 11, 1943, she married Willie Walter Rogers who preceded her in death on July 6, 1992.
Four brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son, Larry Wayne Rogers of Wyatt; six daughters, Margaret Grueninger of Marion, Ill., Addie Sims of East Prairie, Mary Sue Moore of Dyersburg, Tenn., Rosalee Rogers of Charleston, Sally Hodges of Wyatt and Dolly Ruiz of Cairo, Ill.; and nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Gerald Collier of Ironton will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: Mark Grueninger, Kent Grueninger, Bradley Grueninger, David Sims, Joey Ruiz, Zach Smith and Eric Vinson.
