Baker leads Legion to 11-7 victory over Lions

SIKESTON -- Here are Monday's results from Sikeston Area Youth Baseball:

NATIONAL LEAGUE

Kiwanis 10, House of Color 6

Taylor James was 3-for-3 with two RBIs, leading Kiwanis to a 10-6 victory. Adam Kimball and Charles Faulkner both pitched in the win, allowing six hits and six walks with five strikeouts.

For House of Color, Blair Bohannon was 3-for-4 with three RBIs. Logan Kirkpatrick and Braxton Brittain both pitched in the loss.

Legion 11, Lions 7

Seth Baker was 3-for-4 with two RBIs, leading the Legion to an 11-7 victory. Baker and Tyler Ramey both pitched in the win, allowing six hits and nine walks with 12 strikeouts.

For the Lions, Timmy Bell was 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Brandon Sauceda and Garrett Limbaugh both pitched in the loss.

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Elks 13, Steward Steel 1

Jimmy Obermark was 3-for-3 with four RBIs and Jacob Thompson was 2-for-3 with two RBIs in the Elks' 13-1 victory. Obermark and Tanner Bryant both pitched in the win, allowing six hits and five walks. For Steward Steel, Josh Carlyle and Blake Hurt were both 2-for-2. Hurt, Jacob W. Pipkin and Cody Rice all threw in the loss.

Fabrite 18, Fabick 4

Andrew McDowell was 4-for-4 with four RBIs, leading Fabrite to an 18-4 win. Jayme Milam, Michael Kindle and Traveon Little were all 3-for-4. Kindle picked up the complete-game win, allowing 10 hits and three walks with eight strikeouts. For Fabick, David Hardesty blasted a home run in the fourth inning and finished the day 3-for-4. Jason Isaacs and Tyler Evans were both 3-for-3. Ronnie Pyland and Luke Jones each had two hits. Pyland and Jones both threw in the loss.

MUSIAL LEAGUE

Leible 11, Noffel-Feurhahn 4

Daniel Sanders was 3-for-3, leading Leible Auto Sales to an 11-4 win. Parker Williams and Dillion Taylor were both 2-for-3. Trey Drury and Taylor both pitched in the win, allowing 13 hits and three walks with six strikeouts.

For Noffel, Justin Hopkins had an in-the-park homer in the fourth inning. Brady Culver, Will Holifield and Ben Priday all threw in the loss.

Standard Democrat 10, Sikeston Auto Service 9

Ross Bohannon was 3-for-4 and Jason Stratman was 2-for-4, leading the Standard Democrat to a thrilling 10-9 victory. Bohannon also picked up the win, allowing nine hits and seven walks with 12 strikeouts. For Sikeston Auto Service, Nathan Rodgers had an in-the-park home run, finishing the day 2-for-3 with three RBIs. Zach Meyers was 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Rodgers and Evan Deere both threw in the loss.

ROOKIE LEAGUE

Randy's Rx 6, Dairy Queen 5

Colten Williams blasted a triple in the Randy's Rx victory. Randy's saw two hits each from Hayden Brooks, Colten Williams, Hayden Polly and Lee Williams. Rachel Lewis also contributed a hit. The Dairy Queen saw two hits each from Hunter Williams, Ben Murray, Jake Stinnett, Josh Hampton and Spencer Clark.

Sikeston Motors 8, First Midwest 4

Sam Lincoln crushed two triples in the Sikeston's Motors win. The Motors saw three hits from Blake Angle, then two each from Lincoln, Chris Kennard, Ian Householder, Conner Hamra, Vashawn Ruffin and Allen Dirickson.

For First Midwest, Clay Driskill caught a pop fly in the third inning and turned a double play. At the plate, Cory Evans had two hits. First Midwest saw one hit each from Bradley Burks, Josh Glaus, Garrett Self, Driskill and Trent McMillan.

Ferguson 6, D&S Salvage 3

Logan Hawkins was 3-for-3 with two RBIs, leading Ferguson Medical Group to victory. Ferguson saw two hits each from Coleman Johnson, Dustin Deen and Mark Blanton. Bryan Howell and Bradie Glaus had one hit each. For D&S, Kaiden Lambert blasted a home run. Zachary Shaw and Eric Darnau had two hits each. Trenton Gross, Morgan Showmaker, Cody Pratt, Benjamin Hunter and Dustin Chaney had one hit each.
