Charles Goode

ST. LOUIS - Charles R. Goode, 81, formerly of Sikeston, died Jan. 1, 2005, at his home.

Born July 30, 1923, in Larksburg, Tenn., son of the late Archie Elmer and Jessie Kathleen Stutts Goode, he was a grounds supervisor for a St. Louis cemetery before retiring.

On Nov. 12, 1994, he married Lillie Hicks who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Gary Goode of Texas and Mark Goode of St. Louis; one daughter, Claudia Remaris of Anna, Texas; and one brother, Hugh Goode of Sikeston.

Visitation is from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Ronnie Ledbetter, pastor of Cline's Island General Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
