Free lunch program begins

SIKESTON - Sikeston Public Schools will sponsor the Summer Food Service Program from June 3 to 28. Free meals will be made available to children attending summer school as well as all other children who would like to participate in the meal service.

Breakfast will be served from 8 to 9 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. until 12:40 p.m. at the Kindergarten Center and Lee Hunter Elementary School.

At Sikeston Senior High School, breakfast will be served from 7:15 to 8 a.m. and lunch from 10:50 a.m. until noon.

Meals will be provided without regard to race, color, national origin, gender, age disability, political beliefs, sexual orientation or marital or family status (not all prohibited bases apply to all programs).
