PUXICO -- Robert L. "Bob" Hartline, 75, formerly of Dexter and Pontiac, Mich., died Aug. 2, 2002, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Born Jan. 12, 1927, at Bernie, son of the late Fred A. and Irene Francis Hartline, he was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and had retired as a truck driver for Railway Express in Pontiac. He was also affiliated with the Second General Baptist Church in Dexter.

Survivors include: one son, Shawn Hensley of Royal Oaks, Mich.; four brothers, Jerry Hartline of Hemet, Calif., Bruce Hartline of Puxico, and Harold Hartline and John Hartline of Dexter; three sisters, Charlotte Irish of Moscow Mills, Barbara Putney of Mt. Morris, Mich., and Patsy Franklin of Montrose, Mich.; and four grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, one daughter, Sharon Lee, and two sisters, Mary Hartline and Diana Low, preceded him in death.

Services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Phil Warren officiated.

Burial followed in the Old Bethel Cemetery near Dexter.
