Irene Waugh

EAST PRAIRIE - Irene Elizabeth Jenkins Waugh, 75, died at 10 a.m. Aug. 4, 2002, in the East Prairie Nursing Center.

Born Oct. 12, 1926, in Barlow, Ky., daughter of the late Aubrey and Vera Rogers Boyd, she had lived in Mississippi County most of her life.

Survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Joe and Paula Jenkins and Max Jenkins of East Prairie; one sister, Ruth Jenkins of the state of California; and eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Dollie Ruth Jenkins, and one brother, Prentice Boyd.

No services are scheduled. Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
