Jimmie Parr Sr.

FREDERICKTOWN - Jimmie Dale Parr Sr., 70, died July 25, 2004, at the Parkland Health Center.

Born Oct. 19, 1933, in Mississippi County, he was the son of the late Andy and Monica Mathis Parr.

His wife, Elizabeth M. Parr, preceded him in death.

Survivors include: three sons, Jimmie Dale Parr and Louis Parr of Fredericktown and Jammie Dale of St. Louis; two daughters and one son-in-law, Christina Taylor of St. Louis and Denise and Ed Pienkowski of Festus; one brother, James Parr of Albany, Ga.; and 11 grandchildren and eight grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Clyde Hutton; and two brothers, Paul Parr and Russell Parr.

Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the Cozean Memorial Chapel in Farmington, where services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
