PARMA - Johnette Parks Campbell, 73, died July 17, 2004, at her home.

Born Dec. 4, 1930, in Formosa, Ark., daughter of the late Elmer F. and Edith Bell Parks, she had lived in Kewanee and Lilbourn before moving to Parma several years ago. She was a member of the Parma Church of Christ.

On Jan. 10, 1948, at Piggott, Ark., she married Ira M.D. Campbell who preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 1987.

Survivors include: three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sharon and Glen Medlin and Karan Byrd of New Madrid and Lisa and Tim Bartlett of Parma; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ira Michael and Barbara Campbell of Sikeston and Gary Lynn and Jan Campbell and John Paul and Marsha Campbell of Parma; one brother, Frank Parks of Indiana; three sisters, Sheila Crutchley of Cape Girardeau, Yvonne Denton of Chicago and Yvette Terrell of Sikeston; and 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Don Parks and Willie Parks; one sister, Elaine Dufer; and three grandchildren.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma with Pat Hogan of Sikeston, officiating.

Burial followed in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
