Jack Eakins

LILBOURN - Jack Eakins, 49, died at 5:40 p.m. Oct. 23, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born March 11, 1954, in New Madrid, son of the late Rufus and Lillian Eakins, he was a farmhand for Dick Twitty in Lilbourn.

His sister, Nellie Eakins of Evansville, Ind., survives.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday.

Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
