Your View 5/6: Thanks

To the Sikeston A-Plus Program, staff, teachers and students who work with these children, it is wonderful that we have people out there who care for our young children who struggle with homework and other subjects.

I just want the staff and everyone to know how much the Kennard family thanks you for giving the children a second chance in life. The program is making a difference for my child. Chuck Mayes at Lee Hunter Elementary School has also given this child a second chance. What would we do without our wonderful staff in our school district? Ms. Flagg, you are the greatest! It only took one phone call and you gave a helping hand to my child. Without programs like these, our children would be lost in this world today.

So I just want parents out there who have children struggling with homework and other subjects, the A-Plus program is the answer. I also feel like programs like this would encourage our high school students to go on to college without worrying about where the college money is going to come from.
