Speakout 9/11

Tuesday, September 11, 2007

The town of Morehouse has had a no burn order for several days now due to the dry weather. Everywhere you look someone has a fire going in their yards. Where are the police on this matter?

Last week a man stopped and gave me a hand fixing my car at the Basic Gas Station on Broadway and Malone. I would like to return his tools. Please call me at 471-2629.

I wonder what Jerry Falwell and his moral majority would have said about Senator Craig and his restroom episode. You know Mike, I never considered them moral, nor a majority.

Donate blood. It's manufactured in the USA. That's the only thing anymore that is manufactured over here. The good ole Americans still roll up their sleeves and donate it.

To all the people that were born in America, thank you for all the hard work you've done to try to keep companies in the USA. There's not many of them here anymore. But for those trying to keep Americans in work, I sure do praise you. You deserve a high place in heaven for helping people out before they lose everything they have. God bless you American people, you're the best.

We were wondering why every time you answer the telephone there's some foreigner on there wanting to know your information and your business. What's wrong with the American people? Did the foreigners still our language also? You never hear an American person on the phone anymore. They don't need to know our business over here. They need to take care of their own business in their own country.

Albert Einstein once said "The world is a dangerous place to live." Not because of people who are evil, but because of people who don't do anything about it. Wake up, America, wake up!

This is in response to August 29 SpeakOut entitled Salary for free. To the person who gave this comment, you get out there and donate your time for free. That's just not a one hour job, it's an all day affair. The only way people can get someone to do that is to pay them. If you don't think people should get paid to do it, then you get out there and do it for free.
