Venus Kimball

PORTAGEVILLE - Venus Lynn Kimball, 46, of Portageville died Oct. 7, 2003, at her home in Portageville.

She was born Oct. 12, 1956, at Hayti to William Douglas who survives of St. Louis and J.D. and Dixie Chambliss Akins of Kewanee.

On Oct. 27, 1972, at Lilbourn, she married Ronnie Dean Kimball, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include; one daughter Stephanie Kimball of Portageville; one sister, Lonnie Jackson of Litchfield, Ill.; one brother, Billy Douglas of St. Louis; two stepsisters, Audrey Noble of Jacksonville, Fla., and Vicky Beaton of Puerto Rico; three stepbrothers, Jimmy Akins and Danny Akins of Asheville, N.C., and Ronnie Akins of the state of Kentucky; and one granddaughter, Macie Marie Kimball of Portageville.

One stepbrother, Tony Akins, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at the Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid where funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
