NEW MADRID - There aren't a lot of personal decorations on the walls of the New Madrid County R-1 superintendent's office - a diploma, a map of the county showing the various school boundary lines, a logo of the school district. HOWARDVILLE - Alex Hamilton sat with his friends, keeping an eye on basketball action at Saturday's Lincoln University Extension Fun Day conducted at the Howardville Community Center. The event, featuring food and games, was conducted for students involved in the extension program.
