Your View 8/20: Thank you

The Delta Area Economic Opportunity Corporation (DAEOC) would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone in the Scott County community for so graciously opening your doors to us during the Back to School Fair. Your kindness, generosity and acceptance were greatly appreciated by our staff and volunteers.

We would especially like to thank the Sikeston Public Library and the Unity Baptist Church in Benton for the use of their center. We also would like to thank all who participated, including Altrusa Inc., Sikeston Wal-Mart, Domino's Pizza, Pizza Inn, Subway Sandwiches and Food Giant for helping to make our Back to School Fair a great success.

We also want to thank the parents and children who participated in the Back to School Fair. Your spirit of cooperation and acceptance was greatly appreciated. Because of your willingness to go through all the stations, you made things flow smoothly for everyone. We hope that you received information that was helpful to you and your family.
