Dora Plymate

NEW MADRID -- Dora Marie Plymate, 67, died July 26, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Nov. 12, 1937, in Missouri Valley, Iowa, daughter of the late Howard H. Johnson and Gladys Irene Stueve Johnson, she was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and a charter member of the ICES cake decorating club.

On Aug. 31, 1957, in Eminence, she married Daryl D. Plymate who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Daniel Dean Plymate of Newport News, Va.; one daughter, Elizabeth Anne Sullivan of New Madrid; two sisters, Betty Buckley of Valley, Neb., and Norma Jean Krahmer of Elk Horn, Neb.; one brother, Richard E. Johnson of Torrence, Calif. and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Richards Funeral Home where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Tom McCanless officiating.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
