ST. GEORGE, Utah -- Jeanne Saulter Dixon, 76, died Oct. 21, 2007.

Born May 25, 1931, in Searcy, Ark., daughter of the late James and Lily Mae Saulter, she worked 27 years in Salt Lake City as a bookkeeper for Smiths Food King.

On June 25, 1949, she married Thomas Dixon, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Vera Jones; and two brothers, Sonny Saulter and James "Buster" Saulter.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Edie Dixon Jr. of Sandy; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Pam and Dick Stockman of the state of California, Cindy and Dale Slater, Laurie Peck and Rebecca and Chad Duncan, all of Sandy, and Lisa and James Gilman of Salt Lake City; seven sisters, Varna Cagle and June Eastwood of Sikeston, Verda Mae Tinsley of Charleston, Verna Lyons of Salt Lake City, Holly Causey of the state of Indiana, Joanne Flory of St. George and Marlene Jensen and Eunice McFarland of Huntington; two brothers, Bob Dixon of the state of Oregon and Gene Cagle of the state of Missouri; and 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Spilsbury Mortuary Chapel in St. George.

Visitation will continue at noon Thursday until service time at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in Tonaquint Cemetery.
