Barbara Szabo

MIO, Mich. -- Barbara Ellen Bryant Szabo, 65, formerly of Charleston, Mo., died at 7 a.m. April 18, 2005.

Born in Diehlstadt, Mo., to Stella M. Bryant of Sikeston and the late Paul Bryant, following high school graduation she moved to Lincoln Park and then to Mio, where she lived for several years.

Her husband, Basil Szabo, survives of the home in Mio.

Other survivors include: two sons, Paul Szabo and Doug Szabo; one daughter, Audrey O'Malley; one sister, Paula Harper of Sikeston; and four grandchildren.

One sister, Shirley Bryant Reeves, preceded her in death on April 16, 2005.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at John K. Solosy Funeral Home in Lincoln Park and will continue from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in the Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
