Speakout 3/13

Monday, March 13, 2006

Whenever you gaze at the stars at night, you will know that global warming is on the way.

I see on the Friday Standard-Democrat March 3 that Mississippi County can expect smoother black top roads earlier and longer in 2006. We should have an election every year and we could get all our roads fixed.

I don't appreciate my comments about Sikeston High School or the cheerleaders not being printed. I don't think that's fair. I don't think they are picked correctly. They need to have judges that have no political or family relations to these people or any other thing they want for these people in Sikeston for their daughter to get picked. They shouldn't be picked because of their last name or how much money they have. They should be picked because of how good they are. When I was in school there were a lot of girls that were good that were not picked because they didn't have the right last name or because they came from a poor neighborhood. I think that should stop. I think that's a bunch of crap. The football players and the Red Peppers have no business picking the cheerleaders. I hope this gets published and if it doesn't it's just proof once again of the prejudice in Sikeston. You always put in other stupid crap.

Is this how they are selected?

This is in regards to Bad Boys, Good Boys. I don't believe if he had murdered one of their family members or children they would have been worried about what good he had done. As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing good about anybody who stands up and commits murder.

The older people in Morehouse are like the teenagers. They have no guiding hand to guide them. The clergymen and the deacons are busy with certain people and the older people are just there. In sickness and in death, they never come. I bow my head as I call this sin.

The person who is calling George Bush a dummy is way, way off base. It's the people who voted to put him in office that are dumb.
