CHARLESTON - Georgia B. Davis, 65, died April 21, 2006, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Nov. 6, 1940, in Forrest City, Ark., to the late L.S. and Leoria Sisk McCain Sr., she lived many years in Missouri and was a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church.

She was united in marriage to Ozean Davis who preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 2000.

One son, Herman Davis; and one sister, Alma Williams also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: five sons and three daughters-in-law, Wilbert McCain and Dwight and Syra Williams of Charleston, David and Toni Davis of Topeka, Kan., Kerry Davis of St. Louis and Tim and Sylvia Davis of Jefferson City; three daughters and one son-in-law, Evonne Cassel and Dorris Davis of Charleston and Valerie and Darwin Craig of Sikeston; five stepsons and one stepdaughter-in-law, Favis and Tonya Wilson, Anthony Davis and Lorenzo Davis of Charleston, Bobby Lee Davis of Sikeston and Richard Davis of Texas; one stepdaughter, Lawanda Wilson of Charleston; a niece whom she raised, Jackie McCain of Charleston; two brothers and one sister-in-law, L.S. McCain and John and Rose McCain of Charleston; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Stella and Elvin Greer of Wyatt and Margie and Sam Rigney of Charleston; 30 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 until 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Williams Funeral Home in Charleston.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday at St. Matthew Baptist Church in Charleston. The Rev. James E. Radliff will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
