NEW MADRID -- Evelyn Duncan, 64, died Dec. 27, 2007, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Born Dec. 15, 1943, in Oran, daughter of the late Earl Douglas and Grace Alice McCarty McCallister, she was a longtime member of the New Madrid Baptist Church.

On Oct. 17, 1975, she married Larry Eugene Duncan who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Lynn Butler of Bartlett, Tenn.; one son and daughter-in-law, Heath and Jody Duncan of Marston; one stepson, Michael Duncan of Sikeston; three sisters, Earlene Fowler of Moline, Ill., Earnestine Harmon of Gilda Bend, Ariz., and Eleanor Fryer of Eureka; one brother, John McCallister of Gordonville; and five grandchildren, Matthew Butler, Andrew Butler, Brandon Riggs, Samuel Riggs and Adrienne Louise Duncan.

Visitation is Saturday at the New Madrid Baptist Church where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Lynn Butler will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Richards Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
