REDLANDS, Calif. - Harriet Cook Godwin, 73, died Nov. 8, 2005, in Redlands.

Born May 15, 1932, in Morehouse, Mo., daughter of the late Harry and Dora Cook, she was a 1949 graduate of Morehouse High School. She lived on many different military bases in the United States and foreign countries during her husband's military career in the Air Force.

In 1953, in California, she married Ralph Godwin, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Carole Godwin of Keystone, Fla.; one daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Michael Van Brocklin of Rialto; two sisters, Ilah Shriver and Norma Secor, both of Bozeman, Mont.; and three grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Memorial services were conducted Nov. 15 at the Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands.

Burial followed in Riverside National Cemetery.
