New ag, commercial lender joins the team at Sikeston US Bank

SIKESTON - Nathan Cox has been named assistant vice president of agricultural and commercial lending at US Bank's downtown location in Sikeston.

A 1996 graduate of Sikeston High School, Cox earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics from The University of Tennessee-Knoxville. He has worked as an agricultural lender and branch manager in southern Illinois for the last 4 1/2 years. Also he has his life and health insurance licenses in Missouri and Illinois.

The son of Albert and Patricia Cox of Sikeston, Cox is an avid fisherman and operated the bait shop at Home Oil Company while in high school.

Cox is married to the former Heather Honeycutt, of Germantown, Tenn.

Mrs. Cox is a graduate of UT-Knoxville. She has her bachelor of science and master's of science degrees in social work and is employed by Horizon Health DBA Senior Lifestyles at Missouri Delta Medical Center's geriatric/psychiatric unit.

The couple currently reside in Cape Girardeau and are moving to Sikeston.
