Charlie Breedlove

SIKESTON - Charlie Andrew Breedlove, 71, died at 8 a.m. Jan. 19, 2006, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.

Born April 30, 1934, in Johnson County, Ark., son of the late Joe B. and Laura T. Pierce Breedlove, he was a retired mechanic and a past member of the Sikeston Jaycees. He had worked at J. and P. Auto Repair in Morley and as a farmer for Strobel Farms in Bell City.

On July 21, 1952, he married Euna Jewell Jordan, who preceded him in death on Sept. 20, 1991.

Survivors include: three sons, Mark Breedlove of Morley, Dennie Breedlove of Alabaster, Ala., and Carl Breedlove of Benton; one daughter, Louise Wolbert of Arnold; one brother, Larry Breedlove of Baldwin, Kan.; one sister, Maudine Kennedy of Niles, Mich.; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. James Eskew officiating.

Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery.
