To Whom It May Concern:

Christmas Day our meals reached over 400 senior citizens. Once again I am grateful to have been a part of this project to feed our senior citizens and once again I want to thank the faithful volunteers for giving up a portion of their day to serve others. So many people stepped outside of their normal circumstances, moved beyond them and put themselves in the realm of the extraordinary, giving them the opportunity to act out their love spiritually.

Again I was overwhelmed by the generosity of the community and their total support of our efforts. Believe me there is no limit to the compassion this community feels. When you put God into the equation, you cannot lose.

Linda Bollinger gave her best by labeling the food trays but couldn't be there to actually oversee the deliveries. Laura Ramsey and Jackie Cowen did an excellent job of filling her shoes. Gabby Hodgkiss managed to make contacts and deliver almost 40 meals to Morehouse. Steve Morris, who is a familiar face around volunteer projects, interjected his special humor as he worked the serving line and helped deliver and the lady who ran her legs off keeping things filled up, I am not sure but I think her name is Joanie Rauls. Please forgive me for not knowing for sure. There were so many more that I didn't have time to get to know but your faces are forever engraved in my mind. (If I weren't so forgetful your names would be too.)

Without all the volunteers, the meal would not have been a success. I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. You blessed my day and the day of those who received those meals you served and delivered and you will not soon be forgotten for your selflessness. What you did on Christmas day definitely put Christ back in Christmas and you made a difference in the lives of over 400 people.

God gave us His most precious gift on Christmas and this year we shared that gift with others through His ministry . . . . May God bless each and everyone of you.
