CHARLESTON -- Laura Elizabeth Rolwing and Brian Scott Wilson exchanged wedding vows during an early afternoon ceremony May 19, 2007, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Charleston. Monsignor Richard C. Rolwing officiated at the double-ring service.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hunter Rolwing of Charleston. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dawson and Mr. and Mrs. F.D. Rolwing.

Mr. ad Mrs. John A. Wilson of Marshall are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Mrs. Merlin Tousignant of Marshall and the late William Tousignant, Mr. and Mrs. John Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dickson.

Aisle candelabras decorated with a spray of fresh calla lilies, a Casablanca lily, and a red rose mixed with English ivy and sprengeri offset the back pews and greeted the bride as she entered the church. "Trumpet Voluntary" resonated from organist Terry Parker of Charleston as she began her processional.

Escorted down the aisle by her father, the bride wore a formal white Mori Lee gown featuring crystal embroidery on Duchess satin. Beads in raised bands trimmed the strapless neckline and dropped waistline with embroidery cascading upward. A matching band of beads edged the A-line skirt and carriage back overlay onto the chapel length train. Crystal beading which sparkled beautifully along the scalloped edge accentuated her double-tiered fingertip veil.

Diamond earrings from her grandmother and a matching necklace complemented her gown. Two dozen red roses arranged in a clutch bouquet with white satin ribbon around the stems were carried by the bride. A small lace guardian angel hung from her wedding bouquet and an heirloom embroidered handkerchief was tucked inside.

White satin bows accented English ivy and sprengeri draped alternate pews along the bride's path. The parents pews were marked with an identical fresh spay of calla lilies, Casablanca lily, a red rose, greenery and white satin bows.

Spiral teardrop candelabras decorated with tulle, greenery and white satin bows and streamers flanked the sanctuary while large peace lilies offset the main alter. English ivy draped from the ledge behind the alter and around the base of the crucifix. Two Boston ferns, calla lily wreaths and alter candles complemented the decor.

Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority sisters served as bridesmaids and guest book attendant. Shelly Rolwing, sister-in-law from Columbia, served as matron-of-

honor, with Eva Liu and Julie Scheidegger, both from Kansas City, and Jessica Stewart, from St. Joseph, as bridesmaids. Julie Ferguson, from Alexandria, Virginia, attended the guest book along with the bride's cousin, Allison Courtois, from New Madrid.

The bridesmaids wore black strapless A-line organza gowns with an asymmetrical waist was detailed with a beaded brooch, designed by Mori Lee. They carried a clutch bouquet of a dozen red roses.

Ali Wilson, niece of the groom and daughter of Jenny Wilson of Marshall, scattered red rose petals down the aisle as flower girl. Beaded organza ribbon created a striking trellis pattern on the sleeveless bodice of her dress which complemented the shirred organza long skirt and back bow. She wore a small sterling cross necklace, a gift from the couple.

Connor Rolwing, nephew of the bride and son of Dawson and Shelly Rolwing of Columbia, served as ring bearer. He and the groom wore Ralph Lauren black tuxedos with a subtle chalk stripe. Wing-collared shirts, vests, and sharpei ties, all in white, complemented their attire.

John Wilson served his son as best man. Groomsmen included the groom's brothers, John M. Wilson of Madison, Wisconsin, Ben Wilson of Columbia, brother-in-law, Dawson Rolwing, and friend, Steve Klotz of St. Louis.

Friends of the groom, Bret Belfer, of Columbia, and Pete Hollabaugh, of Marshall, ushered guests. All the men in the wedding party wore black tuxedos, wing-collared shirts accented by gray striped sharpei ties and gray patterned vests. Red rose boutonnieres complemented their formal attire.

Kristen and Nicole Hollabaugh lit the candles while the duet of Mary Katherine Branum of Charleston and Kevin Mainord of East Prairie sang "All I Ask of You" accompanied by Terry Parker on the organ. Kristen and Nicole are the daughters of Pete and Julie Hollabaugh.

Scriptural readings were delivered by Cheryl Ewigman, friend of the bride from Columbia, and Julie Hollabaugh, friend of the groom.

"Grow Old With Me" was sung by Kevin Mainord during the lighting of the unity candle. As the bridal couple presented roses to their mothers, Mary Katherine Branum sang "Ava Maria." "Trumpet Tune in D" filled the church as the newlyweds began their recessional.

The reception began at 5 p.m. with a dinner and dance following at the Drury Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

A Welcome to Southeast Missouri display greeted their family and friends from Marshall, Columbia, others from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio, Virginia, Texas, Florida, Tennessee. The display featured a framed poem about Charleston including products of an agrarian economy such as wheat, corn, beans, cotton, while dogwoods and azaleas noted its natural beauty in the spring. Touches of greenery completed the arrangement.

Display boards tracking the planning and pre-nuptial activities since their engagement at Christmas 2005 surprised the bridal couple. Scattered red rose petals, a hurricane globe and votives on a mirror accented by a black cloth over a white cloth decorated the table.

The decor of the banquet rooms reflected the talent of Frank Trankler of Jackson. White lights under white skirting highlighted the tables hosting the bridal party, the wedding cake and gifts. Vases of the red rose bouquets, votive lights and small scroll candelabras decorated the bridal table. Three-

lite table top silver scroll candelabras mixed with hurricane globes on a mirror base adorned the guest tables. A black napkin accented this illumination with votive candles nested in fresh rose petals completing its appeal.

The three-tier wedding cake made by Ellie Minner of Sikeston featured off-set squares. Iced in all white, the cake was decorated with a ribbon band around each border, covered with dots and topped with a white bow. Votives and red rose petals surrounded it.

Tom Neumeyer of Cape Girardeau served as photographer for the occasion. Music was provided by Charlie's Music Revue of Scott City. A DVD of the couple was shown during dinner.

On Friday evening the bridal party, friends and family attended a rehearsal dinner hosted by John and Kathy Wilson at the Royal N'Orleans Restaurant in Cape Girardeau.

Gift baskets from the bride containing toiletries, snacks, informational pamphlets, a Welcome to Southeast Missouri tag, with miniature packets of corn, beans, wheat and cotton dangling from the side were given to all these guests as they checked into the Drury Lodge on Friday.

Pre-nuptial parties included an engagement party hosted by Dawson and Shelly Rolwing on July 29 at their home in Columbia for the families to meet; a bridal shower on March 10 at the home of Cari Hall in Columbia and hosted by co-workers in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit; a family party on March 24 at the home of Mike and Jane Barnes in New Madrid and hosted by her maternal aunts and uncles; a miscellaneous shower at the home of Sallee Forrest in Charleston on April 14 hosted by Sarah Young, Elvie Rodriguez, Margaret Rowe, Rebel Dugan, Meekee Graham, Ellen O'Rourke, Linda Layton, and Debbie Conn; a bridesmaids shower in Columbia on April 28 hosted by Shelly Rolwing at the Thornbrook Clubhouse.

The new Mrs. Wilson, an alumna of the University of Missouri Sinclair School of Nursing, works as a staff nurse in the Post Anesthesia Unit at Boone Hospital Center. A 2006 graduate in nursing from Columbia College, the groom is a customer service representative for Marcus Foods.

Following their honeymoon at the Barcelo Tropical in Rivera Maya, Mexico, they returned to their home in Columbia.
