Hubberts to mark 50 years together

SIKESTON--A golden wedding anniversary celebration in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hubbert will be from 2-5 p.m. Aug. 25 in the Stafford Center at Tanner Street Church of God in Sikeston.

Hubbert and the former Rosemary Woods were married Aug. 25, 1957, in Holly Springs, Miss. They have three children, Randy Hubbert and Susan Kennard of Sikeston and Mary Anne Mainord of East Prairie; and 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The couple are Sikeston natives and members of Shady Acres Church of Christ. Hubbert retired from Essex Wire Co., and Mrs. Hubbert was a stay-at-home mother and later babysat her grandchildren.
