Gladis Mai Beeson

NEW MADRID -- Gladis Mai Gates Beeson, 59, of New Madrid, was born Oct. 13, 1947, in Tyronza, Ark. and passed away Aug. 18, 2007 at the Golden Living Center in New Madrid.

Her beloved father, Casey Gates preceded her on Feb. 3, 2007. Three special brothers, Charles Gates, Bobby Gates and Jimmy Ray Gates also preceded her in death.

She leaves behind her beloved mother, Obie Gates; four special sisters and four special brothers and their families; longtime companion and very special friend, Pete King and his family; nine nieces, 10 nephews, 17 great-nieces, 14 great-

nephews; special friends that were a great help and very much appreciated, Sue and Leann Bogle, Carol Smith, Marilyn Patterson, Mary and Ed Sheppard, Brenda Hammons and Mary Gentry.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Richards Funeral Home. The Rev. John Tarter will officiate.

Burial will follow at the Matthews Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Glen Deal, Greg King, David Rhodes, Joe Gates, Mike Gates and Gary Cunningham.
