Your view: Support MU baseball

Friday, June 1, 2007

What a gift! What a season! We would like to thank the University of Missouri for the opportunity for our sons to play baseball for this beautiful school in this wonderful community! They have also been so blessed to play for such a serious, dedicated, supportive and positive coaching staff led by Coach Jamieson.

This upcoming weekend, Friday, June 1st through Sunday, June 3rd, the university has been selected to host the first round of the NCAA tournament, and we would like to encourage and ask that you to come out and support our boys (who are turning into men way too quickly)! This weekend will be the first time the University of Missouri has been selected by the NCAA to be a regional host site since the NCAA went to their current format. The last time MIZZOU was afforded the opportunity and responsibility to host NCAA tournament baseball was 40 years ago. We are so pleased and excited to be a host site this year.

MIZZOU is scheduled to play their first game against Kent State University Friday evening at 6:30. The rest of the weekends' MIZZOU game times will be determined following that game.

Please go to http://www.mutigers.com for more information on all the tournament games being played in Columbia and for directions and ticket prices.

As a team and as a parent group we come from close and far away, MIZZOU baseball players are from Missouri--Columbia, Blue Springs, St. Louis, Chesterfield, Independence, Sikeston, Wildwood, and Springfield: Illinois--

Edwardsville, Orland Park, Belleville, Oak Park, and Crystal Lake: Kansas-- Prairie Village, Wakarusa, and Olathe: Indiana--Greenfield: Wisconsin--Racine: Minnesota--Rochester: Oklahoma--Stillwater: Texas--Houston, Dripping Springs: Pennsylvania--North Wales: New York--Hamburg.

Thank you for your support of MIZZOU baseball! GO TIGERS!
