Wyatt McClanahan
SIKESTON - Wyatt McClanahan, 92, died April 15, 2007, at Bertrand Nursing Center.
Born Oct. 21, 1914, in Decaturville, Tenn., son of the late Gilford and Minnie Wyatt McClanahan, he had been a member of Fellowship Baptist Church for 40 years, was presently a member of the Sikeston Community Church and had been employed with Pepsi-Cola for 31 years.
On June 19, 1940, in New Madrid, he married Ola Groves, who preceded him in death on Jan. 30, 2006.
Two brothers and two sisters also preceded him in death.
Survivors include: two daughters, Carolyn Miller of Edmond, Okla. and Sharon Morgan of Sikeston; one granddaughter, Larra Miller of Oklahoma City; two grandsons and their wives, Kevin and Regina Miller of Oklahoma City and Chris and Sarah Morgan of St. Louis; one great-granddaughter and her husband, Stefanie and Bo Grandstaff of Oklahoma City; and one great-grandson, Robert Miller of Oklahoma City; and one brother, Mac McClanahan of Bertrand.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Dolan Rogers, pastor of Bertrand First Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
