DEXTER -- Mary Wilson, 96, died July 20, 2006, at the Missouri Southern Healthcare facility.

Born Oct. 14, 1909, in Bloomfield, Ind., daughter of the late Frank and Nettie Rampley Strauser, she had lived in Leora before moving to Dexter in 1978. A member of the Westside Baptist Church in Dexter, she was a charter member of the Leora Baptist Church.

On Jan. 18, 1934, in Bloomfield, she married Edward Wilson who preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 1972.

One grandson, Darold Bennett, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two sons, Loren Wilson and Gary Wilson of Bloomfield; two daughters, LaFern Smith of Bloomfield and Shelby Bennett of Arnold; and 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Doug Scott of Puxico will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Leora Cemetery in Leora.
