Helen Bond

SCOTT CITY - Helen Irene Bond, 84, died at 7 a.m. June 7, 2006, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

Born Jan. 22, 1922, in Randles, daughter of the late Jesse and Essie Hendrickson Beklund, she was a homemaker and a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Scott City.

On July 2, 1938, she married Raymond Charles Bond, who preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 1989.

One brother, one sister and one great-grandson also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three sons, Donald Bond and Charles Bond of Benton and Randy Bond of Tacoma, Wash.; three daughters, Carolyn Sain of Camdenton, Ruth Cains of Riverton, Wyo. and Ethel Adams of Benton; one sister, Ella Mae Menz of Chaffee; 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-

great-grandchildren.

Visitation is at 4 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Rennie Phillips will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery near Arbor.

Pallbearers will be: Donnie Bond, Michael Adams, Jerry Surface, Jessie Surface, Nathan Surface and John Jansen.
