Sikeston city officials recently toured Unilever headquarters in Green Bay, Wis. Unilever, a multi-national corporation, recently made a $17 million investment to upgrade the Good Humor-Breyers north plant in Sikeston. The addition of four lines will create approximately 75 jobs for the Sikeston community. Mayor Mike Marshall, Ed Dust and Doug Friend visited with Unilever officials to thank them for their investment and continued support of the Sikeston facilities. The Good Humor plant, which started operations in Sikeston in 1980, has gone through several expansions including a new north plant that was built in 1998 in the Sikeston Business Education and Technology Park and culminating in this newest expansion.
