CHARLESTON - Leonard Wiley, 57, died June 6, 2006, at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Aug. 28, 1948, in Diehlstadt, to the late Willie Lee and Juanita Miller Wiley Sr., he had been employed as a farmer, mechanic and factory worker and was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors include: two sons, Leonard Wiley Jr. and Steve Wiley of St. Louis; two brothers, Thomas Wiley and Jerome Wiley of Fort Wayne, Ind.; three sisters, Jinniel Wyatt and Vivian Smith of Fort Wayne and Sandra Wiley of Charleston.

Visitation if from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Williams Funeral Home in Charleston. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Bowden Civic Center. Steve Betts will officiate.

Burial with full military rites will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
