Melba Christian

DEXTER- Melba Jean Christian, 74, died Aug. 9, 2006, at her home.

Born July 25, 1932, at Ward, Ark., daughter of the late William Luther and Lillie Cochran Honey, she was formerly employed with Tyson Foods in Dexter.

On June 14, 195 s2, at Piggott, Ark., she married Dolan Jess Christian, who preceded her in death on Nov. 3, 1991.

Survivors include: one son, Gary Alan Christian of Bloomfield; one daughter, Rhonda Lee Crockett of Rockledge, Fla.; one brother, Thomas P. Honey of Bernie; two sisters, Wilba D. Conner of Paragould, Ark. and Janice R. Honey of Dexter; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 1 until time of services at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Rainey-

Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. James A. Hook will officiate.

Burial will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
