SENECA, Kan. -- Emily Jo Hermesch and Matthew William Stuever were united in marriage Aug. 2, 2008, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Seneca.

Parents of the couple are Wayne and D'Ann Hermesch of Seneca and James and Angela Stuever of Dexter, Mo.

Grandparents of the bride are Rosalyn Hermesch and Eleanor Kohake of Seneca and the late Fred Hermesch and Vincent Kohake. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Jerry and Sue Cooper of Sikeston, Mo., and the late Herman and Bernice Stuever.

Maids of honor were Jaci Hermesch and Katie Hermesch, both sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Devona Lies, friend of the bride; and Amanda Brueggeman and Lauren Stuever, sisters of the bridegroom.

Best man was Cory Gregg, friend of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were James Tvrdy, Andrew Brandt and Adam Boman, friends of the bridegroom; and Jason Hermesch, brother of the bride.

Brooke Stewart was the flower girl, and Charlie Hermesch was the ring bearer. Candlelighters were Ashley Abel and Jeri LaBrot. Ushers were Brent Bergman, Andrew Stuever, Andrew Jenkins and Adam Kingree.

A reception, dinner and dance followed at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Seneca.

Following a honeymoon to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the new Mr. and Mrs. Stuever are making their home in Wichita.
