Boyd set to perform tonight in final round
Sikeston native was urged by judges to sing opera song
SIKESTON -- Neal E. Boyd will perform tonight in the final round of competition on NBC's hit show "America's Got Talent."
A Sikeston native and 1994 graduate of Sikeston Senior High School, the tenor last week sang "All By Myself." Following his performance, judges lauded Boyd and called him the "front runner" in the competition. They urged him to perform a traditional opera song in the final competition, which begins at 8 p.m. on NBC.
Audience votes will determine which of the five contestants wins $1 million prize and Las Vegas contract. Here's how you can vote:
Internet voting is open to those age 13 and older between 8:55 p.m. today and 4 a.m. Thursday, central time, at www.nbc.com/Americas_Got_Talent/vote. You must register.
