Bride comes to utility worker stuck in area on wedding day

SIKESTON -- James Wells of Otter Creek, Fla., came to Southeast Missouri a single utility worker. He returned home a married man.

When Wells, an operator with Pike Electric based in Florida, was called out to help restore power in the Sikeston area following the Jan. 26-28 ice storms, his wedding to Lois Nygard was three weeks away.
