Flu closes Kennett schools

KENNETT -- Due to an unusually high number of absences throughout the Kennett School District, the central office announced Friday, Oct. 2, that school will be dismissed Monday, Oct. 5, and Tuesday, Oct. 6.

The announcement came just two days after more than 60 students were sent home from Kennett Middle School with "flu-like symptoms."
