Half-cent sales tax would benefit roads and bridges

CHARLESTON -- Are Mississippi County voters willing to approve a sales tax in exchange for better county roads?

While the details are yet to be worked out, Mississippi County commissioners agreed during their regular meeting Thursday to put a road and bridge sales tax before voters in 2010.
