On the farm: Man creates miniature farm scene

Hobby leads to unique display

CHARLESTON -- Making wooden birdhouses started as a hobby for Jimmy Bruenderman and evolved into his creation of "the big farm."

Using lumber from an old family barn dating back to the 1940s, Bruenderman pieced together a barn and black smith shop complete with farmers, animals and equipment.
