Big Top: Lions, tigers and trapeze are featured in circus

Circus scheduled to be in Oran today

NEW MADRID -- Four-year-old twin sisters Makayla and Malia were on hand for the raising of Culpepper and Merriweather Circus' "big top" and the tour that followed Monday morning, only fueling their excitement for what they were going to see later that night.

"I want to see the lion!" one of the girls said.
